Two Days in a Row!

I can't believe I'm actually posting two days in a row but I go on each morning to see how many day's Mandy has left before the baby and decided to put this up from last night. This is a picture of my Laurels that received their YW Medallion. Bishop Nebeker is much nicer than he looks in this picture, I promise! I was really proud of the girls for the accomplishment, but I have to admit it made me so sad that my girls are grown and I don't get to have these things to go to anymore. But I am so looking forward to attending all these things for my dozens of granddaughters I will have!

So I'm a little tired today- Chelsea text me about 1 am to tell me there was a really loud noise downstairs in her house and would I talk to her while she went to check it out. Then around 3:30 she text me again to tell me she was calling 911 cause she heard it again. She called after the police left and said her next door neighbor came out because whatever this strange noise was it woke them up to. Weird, huh? I was so proud of how calm she was and I never mind when she calls in the middle of the night when Dan's gone. But the big problem was that after that I started thinking about all the things that need to happen for Whit's wedding and I couldn't shut it off. It was so frustrating!!! Okay I feel better now, I'm heading off to make some lists and get things done. Mandy- get that baby here! Lindsey- study hard, but please get some sleep! Chelsea- enjoy the time off work, you deserve it! This is so fun that I can still tell my girls what to do!! I won't bother telling Whit anything here because she 1. Won't read it and 2. I see her everyday!

I check the blogs at least 3 times a day in the off chance that someone has posted. Do you think we have no lives or are we just so hungry to hear of news from our kids and our families.?? Michele has a doctor's appointment today and I am remembering how you lived for each appointment - on the change that you might hear the babies heart beat or that your weight would not have gone up too much. We are past that ol girl, but we can certainly live it again though our children. Make those lists - it helps me on a daily basis to write down what I need to do/buy/accomplish, etc. I only wish I could be there with you the help you with the countless details. If I lived in California and if I was not teaching things would be so different.

That would be fun if Aunt Debbie lived closer...although I shouldn't say anything she only lives 5 hours away from me now! Anyway Bishop Nebeker looks really mean! I know he is not...but funny pic! Poor Chelsea, I am glad she didn't have to get up and work this morning after all that! Glad to hear she is safe too! Can't wait to hear about the invitations! I hope you get everything for them today!

Those phone calls in the wee hours of the morning really get your heart pumping don't they?! I'm glad all is well. Bob calls me when he is out of town to make sure I've set the alarm. It's terrible because I don't like setting in case it does go off and I panic! Kimberly told me if it went off to hurry and lock my bedroom door, run in the bathroom and lock the door, then go in the closet and lock the door and wait for help. Maybe I should just start the night in the closet! By the way...it's fun to see Bishop Nebeker, maybe next time someone could tell him he's having his picture taken! Good thing we know how nice he is!

I check my blogs really often now and read the comments left on them. You really are fun to be around and to read about your activities. I can't believe that Mandy is having another cute baby. I am glad that you will have pictures and put them on your blog. It's also great that you have stayed close to Diane even though they are so far away now.
