WAY TO GO DAN!

We're so excited for Dan- he got a new job! He'll be flying for Skywest now, not sure where he'll be based yet. Lynn and I are so proud of him for taking a chance on interviewing for this job. It's a big cut in pay for now, but if I understand it correctly, he'll be able to move up to captain faster and the pay and benefits will increase faster here than at the old airlines. Sometimes it's really hard to make a move like this- scary too, but both him and Chelsea were able to look to the future and see what needed to be done. So, way to go Dan, you deserve a big pat on the back and a high five! Off to deal with New Beginnings, have an anxiety attack, and pilates- hugs!

New Beginnings vs. Wicked

This is a picture from Sea World this summer of Lynn, Whit, and Ryan- this entry is about them today! So as usual for me life has gotten overbooked! At Christmas Lynn and I bid and won a package of two tickets and a limo to see the play "Wicked" in LA. It was at a charity event and it turned out to be a little pricey, but we thought it was a great present to each other and would be such a fun evening. As I was doing the invitations last week for New Beginnings with one of my Laurels I thought I'd better check and see EXACTLY what day the tickets were this week- IT WAS THE SAME NIGHT AS NEW BEGINNINGS!! I couldn't believe it! There was no way I could miss New Beginnings, so I broke the news to Lynn and told Whitney that her and Ryan could have the tickets- they are so excited, as you can imagine. The next day I went out and bought a new day planner and sat down and wrote all the big events this year so I won't have another disaster like this. What would happen if I planned something for the day of the wedding or Jon's graduation- AS IF!! Hugs

I Figured it Out!

I've had such fun reading Mandy's blog that I decided it was time for me to get going. It is so hard with everyone but Whit gone now- thank heavens she came home for a bit before the wedding! Hopefully I can get this figured out and use it as a fun way to keep us all connected- from CA to AZ to KY to UT and back!!
