As you can see from the photos, the much anticipated refrigerator has arrived! I was at the office with Whit and Ryan and his mom doing the invitations (what a nightmare!!!) when Lynn called to tell us it was being delivered. All the appliances came together and we were supposed to put them in the garage cause we aren't quite ready for them but when Lynn went outside to look he got a little shocked. You see, the fridge simply did not look that big in the store. It was set in a nice little kitchen with cabinets and such and it just looked normal. But when he noticed them taking it off the truck that the carton was over 8' tall and on the side it said "Danger, Heavy- Over 800 lbs" (which is more weight than a volkswagen he informed me) he asked them if they would bring it in the house. He told me they asked him if he was the homeowner not the contractor cause contractors have been known to trick them into taking it into the house. His reply? "Do I look like a contractor?" So they said it would be an extra fee and he told them "Don't move, I'll get my checkbook" and in it came. Now it sits in the middle of the kitchen and Whit and I are terrified to touch it cause it could tip over! I love it and can't wait to see it in it's little cubbyhole. Whit just doesn't understand what I'm going to put in it because I never go shopping and Ryan thinks it looks like the refrigerators at the bakery and Lynn's just impressed it made it into the house!!

oh my gosh that is seriously the biggest fridge I have ever seen. I have to agree with Whitney because you hardly ever buy food - you just get it to go I thought. It seems there are way too many drawers for you to fill it but it still looks like a lot of fun! Have fun - can't wait to see the invitations!
all I can say is with a refrig that big you had better start cooking!!! I would kill for space like that for all my weight watcher meals I make on Sunday to use during the week. I just hope it fits once you go to move it into its space. It would be my luck to have to redesign the entire kitchen to fit the fridge.
That is definitely the biggest fridge I have ever seen. Looks like it does everything but cook and prepare the food inside it for you. Your kitchen looks like it's coming along great! I can't believe how much you have going on...could you be any more busy?!
ha ha...I had Jon come in to look at the fridge before I finished reading it...he said the same thing as whitney! It looks awesome, good thing you will have a housefull to keep it full this summer
Definitely jealous of the fridge. They need to put fridges like that in college apartments. That way we could have a drawer for every roommate and we would never forget about the food we've bought. I can't ever remember what type of bread I bought and how long it's been in there, so I just don't eat it.
Hopefully there will be enough room for your orange juice, eggs, and diet coke!! I know how you love clean and uncluttered areas...but is this going to the extreme?! Don't you wonder why we are supersizing as our families are leaving the nest? Things definitely look bigger at home than they do on the showroom floor. Remember how I felt about my new mattress and you told me I'd get use to it and wouldn't always feel like I was going to get my head chopped off by the ceiling fan when I sat up in bed? You'll get use to it, and you'll wonder how you ever lived without it! You'll just never run out of diet coke!
Gosh Susie between you and Diane you are really going about things in style. It's funny because my fridge needs replacing but I don't want to have to move it out of its space. This sounds so much like work. Tell Mandie and Jon congratulations on the New little baby girl.
