Whitney and Ryan on her birthday
So as usual, I'm late with the birthday wishes- I really am starting to believe, like my mom told me, that I'll be late for my own funeral! Whitney turned the big 21 on May 19 and is now an "official" adult- so sad that our baby is that old! She has been a joy AND a challenge in our lives (but way more joy)- Lynn and I have always felt so blessed to be gifted with her. Whit and her dad have such a close relationship and Lynn so is sad sometimes that she isn't still at home watching the Simpsons with him. We love watching her and Ryan learn to be a family and love that she added him to our family. She is a WAY better cook than her mom, WAY more patient than her mom, WAY more organized than her mom, and WAY more on time than her mom! So happy birthday Whitney- we love you LOTS and LOTS!

Weddings, birthdays, and babies! Sounds like a Kershaw summer. Congrats to Whit on turning the big 2-1. Also, I definitely remember making that mix tape for Whit. I wish I still had those sombreros, and I really miss "Fiesta Fridays!"
