The second weekend in August we met in St. George to see a friend of ours daughter in "Cinderella". We picked Grandma up in Boulder City and everyone else drove down from Provo and Salt Lake. It is such a beautiful setting there- the theatre sits down in a red rock canyon. It was Emma's first play and she did great- even though it was two and a half hours and SO HOT!! She told us after that her favorite part was when the Prince kissed Cinderella!

That was so fun! I need to get all of those pictures from you! And I think we are in big trouble with Emma...she thinks the fireworks with the final kiss is how life should be!
That was such a fun weekend! The play was pretty good, but the best was listening to Emma make comments through out it! I thought the kiss and the fireworks were the best part too though! Love you lots!
I'm glad we're finally getting caught up on your summer happenings. Keep it up!
How fun...Emma is such a girl! I love it! We find out what we're having next week...we're thinking it'll be another boy, but I'm not so secretly hoping for a girl just so I can have a daughter in love with Prince Charmings, kisses, and fireworks.
I've heard about that place. DowDell's thought it would have been a fun place to go, but we went to see Mountain Meadows instead (boo! Can you sense my enuthusiasm!). I just love fairytales!
You guys always have the best ideas for good times! I wish I could have been there to hear Emma's comments. I think we all secretly wish for fireworks and the final kiss...don't we??
Susie. I have a light bulb over my head!!! Did you read Michele's blog entry about how much fun it was to sit around and eat and talk and shop? Well this is my thought. How about early next year we plan a weekend with all the girls in our family. Marcia, McKenzie, Me, Michele, Cortney, You and all your girls. I suggest Chicago but I will leave the place up for discussion. Wouldn't it be fun to just have fun with no event to go to? We could shop, eat, talk, laugh and generally have a good time. What do you think? I was thinking early next year. Wouldn't it be fun???
Ya, it's a good thing I didn't spew that milk, huh? How embarrassing would that have been? I'm sad you're not comin up! But that's understandable. I'm going to the game with Mataya and Max Hall's sister, Sara. I'll let you know how it goes!
Miss you too!
